Rock fall above Conscientious Slab

Had a look today, no routes affected, climbed and brushed Is it a Crime. There are however some rather delicately placed block just above the lower off. It'll probably be best to trundle these but it'll need doing early in the morning or after dark. I'm away next week but if no-one else gets there then I'll see what I can do when I get back.

Hi Mike, It's Jim Kelly. Nothin' to do with rock falls... couple of things.. 1/. would anyone object if I abb'd down Aliens Stole my Hacksaw @ Dali's , cleaned/ gardened it properly (it's not climbable at present), bolted it and made it a worthy addition to that section of the slab? 2/. What's the crack with Lone Tree Hole these days? I know it's a horrible place and always has been but (like Holyhead!!), with a bit of tender love and care maybe it could be transformed!!? Sarah Beany manages to do it all the time. However, the lone tree would have to go! The blank slab behind it on the left is crying out to be extensively cleaned and climbed. What are your thoughts. Please let me know. many thanks, Jim. Do you find this valuable?

Hi Jim, The Slab has already been ascended as "Malice in wonderland" an E2 by the Late Great Wil Perrin. Lone tree has a chequered history of routes cleaned, climbed and returning to nature. Also with its diminutive size, between Wil and the Captain, most Lines have been captured. A clean up and de-veg would certainly be of a benefit, but I would think that even removing the tree would not prevent this shady hole jungling up again.
Maybe best left as a cogitating spot?

Hi Jim,

I don't know where 'Aliens' is? But would suggest you post a clear threaad in the appropriate part of the wiki. I agree with Hosey about Lone Tree Hole, I had a look there myself and i think it's probably best left to nature. Incidentl I still ahve made the trundles above Conscientious Slab

Cheers

Hi Mike. "ALIENS STOLE MY HACKSAW" IS THE SLAB BETWEEN TOUT LE MONDE AND KINDER SPORT. It was done a while back.. never cleaned never bolted and, as a result NEVER CLIMBED! Goes at about English 4c apparently?? It would make sense to plug the gap, clean it properly, bolt it and add it to all the other routes along that section of the slab. Hve a word with Hosey and see what he thinks. I'm happy to do the job. Hope all's well. regards, Jimbo. Do you find this valuable?
