Route left of Zambesi

Yep, bit of a project going on here, sorry it's taking so long, all the usual climbers excuses. Will leave all the hangers on when we've done it. But really, who stole the quick draw from my high point, isn't it obvious that it's a project. Whoever you are be aware that that quickdraw has a very dubious history.Mike Do you find this valuable?

Hi Mike. yeah, like i said to you, i couldn't believe it either. It meant that it was stolen between when we left the quick draw in at 8.30pm on the Monday and when I ret. at 2.30pm the next day. It's very sad that the 'protocol' for working new routes is so mis-understood. Remember, that's the second time 'working gear' has been stolen off this new route. And, like you say, how do the thieves/ thief know the history of the equipment. They'd get a shock if one of the krabs failed!!! Basically, the message is, if you are working a new line DON'T leave any fixed gear on it... cos it will get stolen. What a sorry state we are in when even climbers steal from climbers. I hope whoever has done this has has a conscience and finds the bollocks to put it back or ret. it to V12. If anyone has any info re this you can get in touch with me on 07787 57 6058. Cheers Mike. Jim Kelly.
